  Baptism - a symbol of dedication to Jehovah

  it just came back to me that baptism is just a stupid public display, letting everyone know that you've dedicated your life to jehovah.

  i think it's funny how the elders can tell if you've undedicated your life to jehovah, and they disfellowship you.

  now who's choice was it to dedicate your life to jehovah?.

  Hi Nosferatu! Baptism is not a "stupid public display" because you sincerely show the witnesses JEHOVAH and other people your willingness (dedication) to "kill" your sinful life and then live your life according to His Will. No elders have the right or autorization to disfellowship you from His Congregation, no matter if you are baptized or not. But sorry to say, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that they have this autorization from JEHOVAH GOD. That is not true! Do you believe me Nosferatu what I say? Benny Sikter, Sweden

  Why Aren't Jehovah's Witnesses Allowed To Freely Express Themselves?

  it's a simple fact.

  jw's cannot freely express themselves.

  they can't freely tell another about a doubt or a question that they might have for fear they could be exposed to the elders.

  Dear "scholar",

  Last year I wrote many letters to the Society, both to Bethel in Brooklyn and here in Sweden where I live, concerning articles in The Watchtower who was not in harmony with The Scriptures. But no answers have ever being given me. Why? (See 1 Peter 3:15)

  During this special time in my live I was a member, an elder, in the congregation. But when the brothers still kept me ignored, I disassocited from them. What is your opinion as a Jehovah's Witness? Did I do the wrong or right thing when I left the congregation?

  I discussed with brother Raimond Franz a couple of times last year. He said to me that's wasting of time to write to GB. But Raimond himself won't write to me any longer. And he has blocked my email adress thus stoping me to contact him further.

  But why didn't GB in Brooklyn contact the brothers at Branch Office here in Sweden so they should contact the elders in my home congregation, and finally, these elders should contact me, a presumtive apostate?

  Thank you for your encouraging comments regarding my letter to The Governing Body?

  I will add that I still was an elder when I wrote the letter. But nobody called or talked to me about my writings. Should not true christians defend their beliefs, even to strangers like me? 1 Peter 3:15 says: "But sanctify the Christ as Lord in your hearts, always ready to make a defense before everyone that demands of you a reason for the hope in you, but doing so together with a mild temper and deep respect."

  Is the lack of godly love and respect to my person a very strong evidence that Jehovah's Witnesses are not true christians? (See John 13:34, 35; Romans 12:17-21; 1 Peter 2:17)

  May I ask: What is "DFed"? (Please do remember I am swedish and have difficulties with the english language)

  I sent this letter last year when I still was a member of the organization. But no elders in my home congregation or elders from the branch office here in Sweden have ever given me any questions regarding this letter. In fact I have sent many letters to The Governing Body, but never have they replied. (See 1 Peter 3:15) Because of their unchristian ignorance in taking me seriously I disassociated from them.

  THE GOVERNING BODY OF JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES
  
  Dear Brothers!
  
  First of all I would like to say how much I appreciate your Christian activity by continuing declaring The Good News of The Heavenly KINGDOM as foretold in Matthew 24:14. I can say many other things to assure you of my sincere appreciation to your GOD-given work.
  But I would like, with this letter, asking you some questions after having been reading the book Crisis of Conscience, written by our brother Raymond Franz. He has in his book revealed many things that have been happening among the brothers at Bethel in Brooklyn during several decades. When I started to read this book I became very upset and wrote immediately a letter to him, even using websites on Internet, and gave him a reprimand according to Proverbs 25:2, 9: “The glory of GOD is the keeping of a matter secret, and the glory of kings is the searching through a matter. Plead your own cause with your fellowman, and do not reveal the confidential talk of another.” You can read by yourselves our corresponding letters I deliver in the same envelope as this letter to you.
  
  After reading more and more pages in his revealing book of the activities in Bethel at that time I changed my attitude to brother Raymond. Especially chapter ten and eleven, the pages 233-351 in my Swedish copy, affected me very much! I have seriously questions concerning his writings and I would like to hear your point of views before I find out the real and true things that actually was happening among you anointed brothers at that time, according to Proverbs 18:13: “When anyone is replying to a matter before he hears it, that is foolishness on his part and a humiliation.” Is it not your responsibility to make things clear according to 1 Peter 3:15 there it says: “But sanctify the Christ as Lord in your hearts, always ready to make a defense before everyone that demands of you a reason for the hope in you, but doing so together with a mild temper and deep respect”? (See 1 Corinthians 11:19; 2 Peter 2:19)
  
  I am asking you: What was the Scriptural base to expel brother Raymond Franz from The Christian Congregation? Was it based on The Scriptures or merely imperfect human reasoning? (See Psalm 119:105; Romans 3:23; 7:14-25; 14:1-4; 1 Corinthians 4:6) Is it true that you expelled him because he ate a meal with brother Peter Gregerson? Where in The Scriptures do you find reason to expel him for this? Is it your limited present understanding of the verse in 1 Corinthians 5:11 who guided you into this cold-blooded and terrible action of yours? (See Leviticus 19:32; Proverbs 16:31; 20:39; 1 Timothy 5:1, 17; Compare Job 32:6; Proverbs 23:22; Hebrew 6:10; 13:7, 17)
  
  Another question I am asking is: What is the Biblical reason to expel these friends of Raymond Franz: Ed Dunlap, Rene and Elsie Vazquez, Peter Gregerson, Chris Sanchez, Nestor Kuilan? What wrong have they really been doing? What Biblical teaching do they ignore or hate? Did they were disfellowshipped from The Christian Congregation because they did not accept your own imperfect understanding of The Holy Word that is very changeable because you have not the accurate knowledge yet? (Proverbs 4:18) How much Christian love did you show these fellow Christians with your behavior? (John 13:34, 35; Jacob 2:15-17; 1 Peter 4:8)
  
  How could you permit unanointed brothers to judge and expel brother Edward Dunlap, an anointed brother, who has been used by JEHOVAH GOD to feed spiritually the anointed Brothers among you? (Matthew 24:45-47) What Scriptural reason did you have to do this? Apostasy? Apostasy from what I ask? Was it apostasy in Biblical implication or an apostasy from the “wicked” humans so much restricted ability to fully understand The Truth hidden in GOD’S WORD? (See Luke 11:13) Where in The Scriptures do you find the year 1914 mentioned? Where in The Scriptures do you find that you alone as The Governing Body can resolve spiritually issues of others as you did in Mexico and Malawi, which is fully described in Ray’s good book Crises of Conscience?
  
  Are people more valuable in your sight than His Holy Word? How do you think that JEHOVAH GOD will bless you further when you are not fully obeying His Commands? (See Leviticus 19:32; Proverbs 16:31; 20:39; 1 Timothy 5:1, 17; Compare Job 32:6; Proverbs 23:22; Hebrew 6:10; 13:7, 17) What is your understanding to this verse in The Scriptures: “If then, you are bringing your gift to the altar and you there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar, and go away; first make your peace with your brother, and then, when you have come back, offer up your gift.” (Matthew 5:23, 24) How is it possible to gain JEHOVAH’S blessings when brother Raymond has so many accusations against you in his written good book? (See Matthew 5:9; Romans 12:18; Hebrew 12:14; Jacob 3:18)

  Please remember this verses in The Holy Scriptures:
  
  “My Son, do not belittle the discipline from JEHOVAH, neither give out when you are corrected by Him; for whom JEHOVAH loves He disciplines; in fact, He scourges every one whom He receives as a Son. True, no discipline seems for the present to be joyous, but grievous; yet afterward to those who have been trained by it it yields peaceable fruit, namely, righteousness.“ —Hebrews 12:5, 6, 11.
  
  “Trust in JEHOVAH with all your heart and do not lean upon your own understanding. In all your ways take notice of Him, and He Himself will make your paths straight.” —Proverbs 3:5, 6.
  
  “Rejoice in The Hope. Endure under tribulation. Persevere in Prayer. Share with The Holy Ones according to their needs. Follow The Course of Hospitality.” —Romans 12:12, 13. Yours forever

  In the presence of witnesses, an unrestricted rebuke is delivered to The Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses and their representatives in a leading position because they do not care about the weak ones, including me who am the weakest of them all:

  ”But whoever stumbles one of these little ones who put faith in me, it is more beneficial for him to have hung around his neck a millstone such as is turned by an ass and to be sunk in the wide, open sea.” (Matthew 18:6)
  
  ”And a strong angel lifted up a stone like a great millstone and hurled it into the sea, saying: “Thus with a swift pitch will Babylon the great city be hurled down, and she will never be found again.” (Revelation 18:21)

  Additional words from The Lord Jesus Christ which by now can be applied to Jehovah's Witnesses are:
  
  ”The kingdom of God will be taken from YOU and be given to a nation producing its fruits.” (Matthew 21:43)

  ”The scribes and the Pharisees have seated themselves in the seat of Moses. Therefore all the things they tell YOU , do and observe, but do not do according to their deeds, for they say but do not perform. They bind up heavy loads and put them upon the shoulders of men, but they themselves are not willing to budge them with their finger. All the works they do they do to be viewed by men; for they broaden the [scripture-containing] cases that they wear as safeguards, and enlarge the fringes [of their garments]. They like the most prominent place at evening meals and the front seats in the synagogues, and the greetings in the marketplaces and to be called Rabbi by men. Woe to YOU , scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because YOU shut up The Kingdom of The Heavens before men; for YOU yourselves do not go in, neither do YOU permit those on their way in to go in. Woe to YOU , scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because YOU give the tenth of the mint and the dill and the cumin, but YOU have disregarded the weightier matters of the Law, namely, Justice and Mercy and Faithfulness. Blind guides, who strain out the gnat but gulp down the camel! “Woe to YOU , scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because YOU cleanse the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full of plunder and immoderateness. Blind Pharisee, cleanse first the inside of the cup and of the dish, that the outside of it also may become clean. “Woe to YOU , scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because YOU resemble whitewashed graves, which outwardly indeed appear beautiful but inside are full of dead men’s bones and of every sort of uncleanness. In that way YOU also, outwardly indeed, appear righteous to men, but inside YOU are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. Serpents, offspring of vipers, how are YOU to flee from the judgment of Ge·hen'na?” (Matthew 23:2-7, 13, 23-28, 33)
